Work Experience: I have worked at the News & Record since 1981 in a variety of positions. They include: copy editor and designer, assistant features editor, assistant desk chief, regional editor, education editor and news editor. I previously worked as a features writer and reporter at the Durham Herald-Sun and the Asheville Citizen-Times.
