Mel Umbarger is a designer and copy editor.
She used to get in trouble for reading under the covers with a flashlight, and she can usually be found now getting her wallet into trouble in used book stores. She especially loves science fiction and fantasy, with some graphic novels, chick lit, young adult and historical fiction thrown in for variety.
