Eddie Wooten
Sports editor. He began running in 2003 and is a veteran of 16 marathons and one ultra, the Frosty 50K. He will be in the middle of the pack at the Myrtle Beach Marathon on Feb. 18. His most recent 26.2-mile race was the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes (4:16:50) from Nice to Cannes, France, on Nov. 20. He has entered and finished one 25K (2:09:36, Frosty Fifty, Jan. 7), nine half-marathons, three Ultimate Runners, the Blue Ridge Relay and occasional 5Ks, 8Ks and 10Ks.
