REIDSVILLE — A teen rammed his BMW into the side of a house early Thursday morning.
Bishop Biddix, 16, of Reidsville, was driving a 1997 BMW north on Woolen Store Road at about 7:30 a.m. when he entered a left turn curve at a high rate of speed, said Highway Patrol Trooper G.S. Grissom. Biddix tried to slow down, overcorrected and lost control of the car, Grissom said. Biddix drove through an open field and ran into the right side of a vacant house.
Biddix had minor injuries, Grissom said. Biddix was charged with reckless driving. Grissom estimated damage to the house at $5,000.
