Rocco Mediate to play in Wyndham

GREENSBORO - Rocco Mediate, the runner-up to Tiger Woods in the dramatic U.S. Open, will play at the Wyndham Championship, officials announced today.
Mediate is a two-time winner of the Greensboro tournament, winning in 1993 and 2002.
The Wyndham is set for Aug. 11-17 at Sedgefield Country Club. Mediate is ranked 45th in the world.
