Authorities have arrested others since Tuesday they allege were operating illegal slot machines in Rockingham County, the sheriff's office said today.
Over the past few months, North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division agents have received complaints of illegal slot machines within Rockingham, prompting an undercover investigation.
As a result, arrest warrants for more than a dozen people were obtained, the sheriff's office said. Search warrants have also been obtained for about the same number of businesses.
Names of the latest arrested so far and the addresses where the slot machines operated, according to a sheriff's office press release issued Friday:
Velma Francis Ferguson, 54, Clark's Jewelry located at 8910 N.c. 14, Eden.
Danny Walter Trent, 53, Trent Brothers Music Co. Inc., 708 N. Scales St., Reidsville.
George W. Trent Jr., 60, 2623 Reid School Road, Reidsville.
John Paul Pulliam Jr., 52, Pulliam's Grocery, 1499 U.S. 29, Reidsville.

Howard Lee Talley, 59, Fosters Grocery, 931 W. Harrison St., Reidsville.
Dorothy Bryan Love, 84, L & S Fast Stop, 1410 W. Harrison St., Reidsville.
William Eugene Terry, 68, Williams Hilltop Grocery & Grill, 11074 N.C. 87, Eden.
Ramon Khalil Ganim, 61, Ramons, 3656 U.S. 220, Building 2, Madison.
