The Guilford County Department of Public Health has set its low cost rabies vaccination clinic schedule for 2008.
The cost of the rabies vaccinations at these clinics is $5 per shot and will protect the animal for one calendar year. Guilford County has already had one confirmed case of rabies this year.
Clinics are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. on:
* April 12 at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, 2332 New Garden Road, Greensboro. Parking will be located in the visitor’s lot on Old Battleground Road.
* May 17 at Barber Park, 1500 Dan’s Road, Greensboro.
* June 14 at the Jamestown Fire Station, 301 E. Main St., Jamestown.
* July 26 at the Summerfield Fire Department, 7400 Summerfield Road, Summerfield.
* Aug. 9 at Gander Mountain, 2223 Vanstory St., Greensboro.
* Sept. 6 at Fire District #28 station located at 6619 N.C. 61 North, Gibsonville.
* Oct. 11 at the Pleasant Garden Town Hall, 4920 Alliance Church Road, Pleasant Garden.
