Best-selling pastor coming to the Triad
Joel and Victoria Osteen, pastors of the largest church in America, plan to come to the Triad for a worship service on April 18 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Joel Osteen, senior pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, was named the Most Influential Christian in America in 2006 by The Church Report and was featured as one of Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2006." His second book, "Become a Better You," was released in October with a first printing of 3 million and remains on best-seller lists.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday , and are available at http://www.ticketmaster.com; via Ticketmaster's Charge-By-Phone Network at 852-1100 in Greensboro and 722-6400 in Winston-Salem; at Ticketmaster retail locations at Lowes Foods, FYE and Macy's stores in Greensboro; and at the coliseum advance box office. Tickets are $15. All seats are reserved.
Special guests include Dove Award winner Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, and the Lakewood Band and Ensemble.
