N.C. A&T women take over

GREENSBORO -- N.C. A&T overcame a two-point deficit at the half to outscore Coppin State 33-20 in the second half of Monday's 61-50 MEAC victory.

A&T's Amber Bland led all scorers with 19 points, going 4-for-10 from 3-point range.

The Aggies' bench outscored Coppin State's 14-4, with 11 of those points coming from Britta Taylor-James, who made 7 of 11 free throws.

Coppin State was led by Shalamar Oakley's 15 points.
