Benches get a new home on greenway

GREENSBORO — A set of benches will soon find a new home along the Downtown Greenway — one farther away from residents.

The five benches became a point of public and political debate this fall. They were removed from a spot near Bilbro Street after some neighbors complained that they attracted illegal behavior.
