Show off your creative flair and design a sheet of wrapping paper for the News & Record's annual holiday gift wrap contest.

There are two divisions, one for youths (children through the eighth grade) and one for adults (high school through senior citizens).

We'll print both winning designs as sheets of real gift wrap in the Dec. 20 Life section. Here are the rules:

Fresh Manna Cafe and Catering has recently opened at 116 E. Main St. at River Twist in Jamestown. But a grand opening will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Marciá Devlin, who has been in catering with her family for more than 10 years, had been looking for a place to open a cafe and found out about the space vacated by River Twist Kitchen.

Last week, Curry was taking a brief break in a Costa Rica hotel, between trips on cruise ships where he performs music of the late John Denver.

Twenty-five local artisans will sell items such as organic crocheted scarves, baby blankets, ornaments, framed and matted photography and handmade bath products.

A booth also will be set up where children can make edible sand-art candy.
