Stokesdale singer makes 'American Idol' top 24

GREENSBORO — Chelsea Sorrell, 23, of Stokesdale made it to the next round on "American Idol."

She earned a spot Wednesday night in the top 24.

The singing talent show airs at 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays on Fox.
