EDEN — The city said a broken sewer main led to a spill of about 12,000 gallons of raw sewage earlier this week.
The city said the broken main at 417 Gallagher's Way was reported at 11 a.m. Monday and lasted about 8.5 hours.
The city said about 4,000 gallons of untreated waste water entered the Moir Branch of the Roanoke River basin.
