Deadline to claim scratch-off prizes approaches
The deadline to claim prizes for 11 of the state's instant scratch-off games is Feb. 16.
The games are: Hot $50’s Black Pearls, Hot $100’s, Triple Tripler, $50,000 Jackpot, Ruby Red 7’s, $500,000 Anniversary Cash, Match 3 Tripler, Cash Bonanza, Sand Dollar Doubler, and $20K Payday.
Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight that day.
Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claims centers before 5 p.m.
Claims of $100,000 or higher must be made at North Carolina Education Lottery headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m.
Mailed claims must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date.
Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.
