Second man arrested in Burlington homicide
BURLINGTON — A second man has been arrested in last weekend's fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman.
Burlington police said Andrew Napoleon Brown, 23, of 2103 McKinney St. was arrested today and charged with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Alamance County jail without bond.
Police said they are seeking a third suspect in the death of Brittany Jernigan, who was fatally shot in her Stout Street apartment on Saturday night.
Brett Allen Cole, 22, of Cane Creek Road in Snow Camp turned himself in after the slaying and was charged with first-degree murder. Cole remains in the Alamance County jail without bond.
