Rocky Mount man gets six years in prison for selling stolen guns

A federal court has sentenced a Rocky Mount man to more than six years in prison on gun charges.

According to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice, Justin Omar Lewis and another individual sold a Glock 17 9mm handgun and a Kel Tec 9mm rifle with ammunition. The weapons had been stolen in a home invasion robbery committed by Lewis, 20, and co-conspirator Bruce Moore.

Moore is already serving a federal prison sentence for his role.
