For many years I have appreciated the quality of journalism produced by Mark Binker for the News & Record. It has always been apparent that he makes the extra effort to ferret out and digest the facts and become familiar with the background of his topic. His articles are factual and carefully written, and leave opinions to the editorial page, where they belong; they give the reader credit for the ability to form his or her own opinions following due consideration of the facts.
It is Greensboro’s gain that his recent focus is less on Raleigh and Capitol doings and more on the local scene. Keep up the good work.
