WENTWORTH — Two brothers have been indicted in the December slayings of two teenagers late last year.
A Rockingham County grand jury on Monday indicted John Arbrey Willis, 21, on two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of concealment of death.
The grand jury indicted Aaron Terrell Willis, 16, on two counts of accessory after the fact, a felony.
The Willis brothers were arrested eight days after the deaths of Taylor Nicole Queen, 17, and Jessica Marie Walker, 18. The two were found Dec. 12 inside a burning vehicle on Stacey Road in Ruffin.
Walker had been shot to death. The N.C. Medical Examiner's Office has not determined how Queen died.
The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office has given no motive for the slayings and has not said if the victims and the pair accused in their deaths knew each other.
John and Aaron Willis live at 1074 Newnam Road in the Pelham community of Caswell County. They remain in the Rockingham County jail without bond.
