Nat Greene Flyfishers spring banquet and seminar set for March 3
The Nat Greene Flyfishers club will hold its Spring Banquet and Seminar on March 3 at the Heritage Hill Banquet Facility at 5435 N. Church St. To reserve a seat call Laura Kennerly at 707-7665 or Neal Mitchell at 643-5001. The featured speaker will be Alex Bell, co-creator of the Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Trail & Map (first in the country) and owner of AB's Fly Fishing Guide Service. Advanced banquet tickets, which include a buffet dinner, are $35. Tickets at the door are $40. Seminar tickets, including lunch, are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. The seminars are from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The evening banquet is from 6-10:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a rod for hands-on instruction. A limited number of rods will be available.
