RALEIGH (AP) — North Carolina residents looking for legal advice on a tight budget may have a source to help them out.
The Young Lawyers Division of the N.C. Bar Association is sponsoring what it calls "Ask a Lawyer Day" on Saturday.
At nine locations across the state, people will be able to meet with attorneys to discuss specific legal issues or the legal system in general. The one-on-one meetings are free of charge.
The sessions will be held in Asheville, Burlington, Chapel Hill, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Hendersonville, Raleigh, Wilmington and Winston-Salem.
Most of the sessions run from the morning until the early afternoon, so for specific times and locations people should contact the bar association before going.
