Delivery drivers for Papa John's, Domino's robbed in Greensboro

— Delivery drivers for Papa John's and Domino's were robbed within several hours of each other, police said this morning.

At 9 p.m. Friday, officers were sent to Papa John's at 2408 Spring Garden St. regarding a robbery call.

Nicole Carter told them she had finished a delivery and was returning to her car in the parking lot of of 335 Burlingate Drive when two men approached her.

One of the men ordered her to open the door.

He took an undisclosed amount of money and Carter's cell phone before both men fled on foot, according to police.

Police described the first man as black, in his late 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, average build and wearing dark clothes and a ski mask.

Police did not provide a complete description of the second suspect.

More than four hours later at 12:15 a.m., police were sent to 1401 Cunningham St. regarding the robbery of a Domino's Pizza delivery driver.

Travis Jordan said he returned to his car after making a delivery when a man wearing a ski mask approached, displayed a handgun and demanded money and property, police said.

He was last seen leaving on foot.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
