Send a clear message about animal abuse

Please boycott Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. This circus, legally known as Feld Entertainment, is coming to Greensboro.

Various animal organizations and private citizens have complained to the U.S. Department of Agriculture about Ringling Bros. violating the Animal Welfare Act. In November, Ringling Bros. agreed to a settlement with the USDA and was fined the largest sum of money in circus history.

According to USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack, “This settlement sends a direct message to the public and to those who exhibit animals that USDA will take all necessary steps to protect animals regulated under the Animal Welfare Act.” For details on the settlement, go to the USDA website. For video and photographic evidence of the abuse, go to PETA.org.

In November, we vote for politicians. Daily, you vote in another way: how you spend your money. When you spend money, you are “voting” for the business you give your money to.
Vote “no” to Ringling Bros. — boycott the circus. Send Ringling Bros. circus a direct message by not giving it any of your money. Do not be a party to animal abuse.
