GREENSBORO — Parents and students can learn more about the ACT college entrance exams that will be given to high school juniors this spring by attending an information session tonight.
Guilford County Schools' parent academy will host the meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Grimsley High School at 801 Westover Terrace.
State education officials require that high school students take the exam before they graduate. The ACT aims to measure what students learn in high school and determine if they can handle college-level work.
Dibrelle Tourret, the district's Advanced Placement coordinator, will answer questions and give tips on how to prepare. Contact Guilford Parent Academy at 279-4924 for more information.
