Scott Bishopric of Eden and Megan Elizabeth Rollins of Reidsville were named to the 2011 President’s List at Elon.
Neil Shoffner will be the new marketing manager for Annie Penn Hospital, effective Feb. 6.
Shoffner brings more than 12 years of marketing experience. Most recently, he served as marketing manager for Hanesbrands in Winston-Salem. He has a BA degree in English from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from UNCG.
Sara Paschal of Rockingham County was recognized by the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG and inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international honor society.
Daryl N. Crowder of Reidsville recently graduated from basic law enforcement training at Guilford Technical Community College.
Bess Hopkins of Rockingham County will compete in the 2012 Distinguished Young Women of North Carolina Scholarship program Feb. 3-4. The program, formerly known as North Carolina Junior Miss, provides scholarships for senior high school girls from across the state.
