DURHAM — Bill Cosby will sign copies of his latest book, "I Didn't Ask to be Born (But I'm Glad I Was)," at noon Jan. 20 at Barnes & Noble Booksellers at 5400 New Hope Commons.
Braxton Cosby, nephew of Bill Cosby, also will be signing his book "The Star--Crossed Saga: Protostar."
Tickets for the signing will be handed out at the store beginning at 9 a.m. Both authors will sign as many copies of their new books as customers want. No back stock will be signed, and the authors will not pose for photos with customers.
Bill Cosby's previous books include "Cosbyology: Essays and Observations from the Doctor of Comedy," "Fatherhood," "Love and Marriage" and "Time Flies." He also created a series of books for young readers featuring the character Little Bill. Cosby also is a musician and composer.
Bill Cosby will be performing at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Durham Performing Arts Center. Seats are still available for both shows.
"Star-Crossed Saga" is the first novel from Braxton Cosby, in which he mixes elements of science fiction and romance genres.
