FLORIDA A&M 70, N.C. A&T 68: N.C. A&T's Amber Calvin's game-tying shot in the closing seconds missed its mark and visiting Florida A&M escaped with a 70-68 victory over the Aggies in the Corbett Sports Center on Monday night.

Antonia Bennett had 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Rattlers (10-5, 3-0 MEAC).

Nikia Gorham had 14 points to lead A&T (7-9, 2-1), while JaQuayla Berry added 12.

APPALACHIAN STATE 81, UNCG 66: Courtney Freeman scored 23 points to lead visiting Appalachian State to a Southern Conference victory over UNCG in Fleming Gym.

Anna Freeman added 15 points for the Mountaineers (11-2, 5-0), who forced 19 turnovers. Catherine Williams had a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Dudley graduate Breonna Patterson scored 16 points to lead UNCG (2-12, 1-5), while Janae' Stevenson added 14 points.

HIGH POINT 81, RADFORD 65: Erin Reynolds led all scorers with 24 points and visiting High Point remained undefeated in the Big South Conference with its victory over Radford.

Shamia Brown added 18 points for the Panthers (9-6, 4-0) and Cheyenne Parker had 15 points and 13 rebounds.

MEN

MORGAN STATE: Coach Todd Bozeman was suspended indefinitely without pay after being involved in a physical altercation with one of his players during a victory at S.C. State on Saturday night.

Bozeman is accused of punching senior guard Larry Bastfield during the game. The extent of the contact between Bozeman and Bastfield is being reviewed by officials of both schools.

"It's definitely overblown," Bozeman said. "I didn't hit him."

N.C. CENTRAL 69, BETHUNE-COOKMAN 64: Ray Willis scored 21 points to lead host N.C. Central (8-8, 2-1 MEAC) to a victory over Bethune-Cookman.
