Greensboro police investigate shooting

GREENSBORO — Police are investigating a shooting tonight that sent one man to the hospital.
Walter Alston Jr. was being treated for serious injuries, Greensboro police said in a news release. They did not disclose where Alston was being treated.
Police responded to the 900 block of Tuscaloosa Street about 7 p.m. Saturday in response to a shooting and found Alston lying in the street.
The shooting did not appear to be random, police said.
No further information was available Saturday.
