African restaurant opening downtown

African Continental Cuisine opens Saturday at 257 N. Greene St.
The restaurant, in the old Riva’s Trattoria location, will be open at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner.
It will offer a menu of Caribbean and African dishes, with a focus on Nigerian specialties.
The restaurant has yet to get its ABC permit, so the bar is not expected to serve until next week.
