— People who want to remember the late Richard "Ricky" Suttles can contribute to a scholarship created in his memory.

The Guilford County Association of Educators and the PTA at the Middle College at GTCC in High Point started a scholarship fund in late November, according to Guilford County Schools. The fund will help pay the tuition of middle college graduates who enroll at GTCC.

Suttles, a senior at the middle college, died Nov. 25, five days after he was shot in the head. His aunt, Mary Ann Holder, was accused of shooting him and four other children before killing herself on Nov. 20.
