Receiver Percy Harvin and cornerback Antoine Winfield are listed as questionable for the Minnesota Vikings' game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Harvin has a rib injury that has bothered him for most of the season. He missed the second half of the game against Green Bay last weekend because of it, but says he thinks he will be able to play at Carolina.
Winfield has missed three straight games with a neck injury. He tested it in practice this week, but coach Leslie Frazier said they will have to see how he feels today before making a decision.
LIONS: Detroit claimed former Chicago Bears safety Chris Harris off waivers. The Lions put safety Vincent Fuller (forearm) on season-ending injured reserve to clear a roster spot.
Harris, a former member of the Carolina Panthers, started all three games he played this year, but his production waned after a five-interception season in 2010. He wasn't a contributor on Chicago's special teams, precipitating the team's move.
RAIDERS: The cause of former Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis' death has been determined to have been heart failure.
The death certificate issued by Alameda County (Calif.) said Davis died from an abnormal heart rhythm, congestive heart failure and a heart muscle disease.
TEBOWING: Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow inspired a phenomenon when he dropped to a knee and began praying as his teammates celebrated all around him after an improbable overtime win in Miami last weekend.
Jared Kleinstein was mesmerized by Tebow's peaceful demeanor kneeling on the turf amid all the chaos that ensued. He launched a website (www.tebowing.com) in which fans could submit photos of themselves "Tebowing," which means getting down on a knee and praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different.
