Goodwill bargain hunters soon will have a fifth place to shop in Greensboro.
Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina is opening a store in October at 106 Muirs Chapel Road.
Grand opening highlights will include music, free food and giveaways.
A specific opening date had not been announced as of my column deadline.

The department store chain recently opened a location in Alamance Crossing.
The store is at 1361 Boone Station Drive in Burlington.
It is the 28th Kohl’s store to open in North Carolina.
Kohl’s operates 1,097 stores in 49 states.
Fan of llamas?
Meet Patches “the friendly llama” during a store event at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at Ten Thousand Villages (1564-A Highwoods Blvd., Greensboro; 275-1204).
Patches is helping the store celebrate receiving handmade alpaca knitwear from Bolivia.
Ten Thousand Villages sells fair trade artisan home decor, pottery, jewelry, knitwear and other items from around the globe.
The store is off New Garden Road near Bryan Boulevard.
The store has posted pictures of Patches on its Facebook page.

Money raised from the sale benefits the YWCA’s women’s resource center.
