Sales on women’s clothing, store openings, deals on jewelry and a trunk show are some of the highlights of this week’s column.

James Hogan events

A few upcoming events are planned at James Hogan (301 State St., Greensboro; 378-9919).

The chic women’s clothing store’s semi-annual sale begins Sept. 15. The first item will be 50 percent off, and the second item of equal or lesser value is free.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 12-14, Hogan’s couture collection will be featured.

On Sept. 21-26, the store will host a Pink Tartan stock and trunk show.

James Hogan is in the State Street Station shopping village, between North Elm and Church Streets north of downtown Greensboro.
