The chic women’s clothing store’s semi-annual sale begins Sept. 15. The first item will be 50 percent off, and the second item of equal or lesser value is free.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 12-14, Hogan’s couture collection will be featured.
On Sept. 21-26, the store will host a Pink Tartan stock and trunk show.

BJ’s Wholesale Club is coming soon to Burlington.
The store is opening in the Alamance Crossing shopping center at 3186 Walden Lane.
BJ’s is offering two pre-opening specials: a 14-month membership for $40 and a rewards card membership for $70, which is $20 off regular price.
BJ’s had not announced a specific opening date by deadline.

This month, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s and Five Below are expected to open.
Pier 1 Imports is scheduled to open in October.

Items will be marked down Tuesday through Saturday.
The store recently added a chic-for-cheap room featuring bargains on jewelry.
The room also features a clearance area for final markdowns.

This & That (3712-B Lawndale Drive, Greensboro) recently closed after eight years in business.
The knitting supply store sold items including yarn, needles, purses and jewelry.

The annual event was rescheduled Saturday because of Hurricane Irene.
It’s being held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the News & Record’s parking lot in downtown Greensboro.
The $1 entry fee benefits the News & Record’s Newspaper in Education program and the United Way of Greater Greensboro.
It’s free for children 12 and younger.
