On Friday, Lexington Police arrested a man who they say tried to hire someone to kill another man.

Harry Lee Hill, 50, was arrested on the charge of soliciting murder. After a two-week long joint investigation between Lexington Police and the State Bureau of Investigation, police say they found evidence that Hill tried to hire someone to kill Jeremy Gober.

Hill is being held in the Davidson County Jail on a $500,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 1.
