Aquatic Center to host Division III conference meet

GREENSBORO — The Greensboro Aquatic Center will be the site for the 2012 Old Dominion Athletic Conference-Atlantic States Swimming Championships.

The event will be Feb. 9-12 and will feature nine college teams from Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina, including Greensboro College and Guilford College.

About 130 swimmers will compete, according to a news release from the Aquatic Center.

I guess the N&R must get kick backs for making all these little "fart in a tornado" announcements.
130 swimmers and a few family members will be coming to Greensboro. Big woo. There probably won't be enough tax money brought in to heat the pool for that weekend.
