Amazon offers free streaming movies and television shows with their Prime membership
That’s great, you say, but what is an Amazon Prime membership? It’s a program that gives you free two-day shipping and discounted prices on one-day shipping for most of their products. It costs $79 a year and excludes Amazon Marketplace purchases.
Now members get another perk - free streaming movies and television shows. Amazon’s streaming works on both Mac and PC platforms.
What are your choices? In the movie category, Amazon has recent award winners such as “The King's English” and old classics like “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” You can also stream Nova documentaries and older other television shows like the “Sopranos “. The only down side is that current television shows like “Army Wives” and “Cake Boss” cost anywhere from 99 cents to a few dollars to watch.
Still, it's a heck of a deal. And you know how much we like those.
