Madison school bus in accident

MADISON -- No students were seriously injured in a traffic collision involving a Huntsville Elementary school bus this afternoon. According to school district officials some complained of minor pain but none were taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. when a pickup truck hit the back of the Rockingham County Schools bus on Ellisboro Road in Madison as it was making a stop, according to the Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol cited Daniel Carl Smith, 66, with failure to reduce speed. Smith was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
