GREENSBORO — Deep Roots Market has raised about 75 percent of $1.25 million to build a relocated store north of downtown.
The company said that it has raised the money through store savings, owner equity, commercial lenders and loans from its owners.
The store hopes to raise the remainder from the community with a goal of March 31.
The 10,500-square foot natural foods store on North Eugene Street would be next to the Fisher Park neighborhood.
