WINSTON-SALEM — A 55-year-old man police said was viewing child pornography at the library in May faces new charges.
On May 12 at 5:09 p.m., officers responded to the Forsyth County Library at 660 W. 5th St. concerning a report of someone viewing child porn, Winston-Salem police said in a news release.
Officers found Stuart Dowlin Bryan at the library viewing child porn using the Wi-Fi at the library on his laptop, police said.
Bryan, of 131 Shady Blvd., Apt. 1, was charged with five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was being held at the Forsyth County jail under $50,000 bond.
On Tuesday, after further investigation and consultation with the district attorney's office, Bryan was charged with 13 additional counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, police said.
His bond was set at $500,000. His court date was set for Oct. 15.
