• Jerry Saddler, 23, is wanted by the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office on charges of obtaining property by false pretense, forgery and uttering a forged instrument.

Deputies say since Aug. 13, Saddler has victimized multiple area banks through an elaborate check-kiting scheme.

Saddler, who opened accounts at the banks, is accused of altering his checks with fictitious information.

He allegedly writes checks out to himself and receives mostly cash when depositing the funds.

Saddler is a black man, 6 foot 1 inch tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on his upper right arm.

His last known address is 103 Lillie Drive in Lexington. 

• Jeffrey Shields Jr., 24, is wanted by Greensboro police on charges of larceny, possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense.

Officers responded to a burglary Aug. 31 on Summitview Drive. Two women who lived there said someone entered their unlocked home while they slept and stole $2,200 in electronics.

The items were discovered Sept. 1 at a local pawn shop. The employee said the items were pawned by Shields.

He is a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is 2700 W. Florida St. in Greensboro. 

Police advise anyone who knows the whereabouts of a suspect to notify law enforcement but not to try to apprehend the suspect.
