Robbers awaken Greensboro couple, take $27K from safe

GREENSBORO — Two gunmen woke up a Greensboro couple early Saturday morning and took $27,000 from their safe, police said in a news release.
Tiffany Nguyen, 40, told Greensboro police she and her husband were awakened in their bedroom at 9 Pilot Ridge Court by two gunmen wearing bandannas over their faces.
The robbers took money, from their business, out of a safe in a closet and left about two hours later, police said.
Police ask those with information to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
