2 teens charged with shooting into home

REIDSVILLE — Two teens were arrested Tuesday after a home was struck by gunfire last week.

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office said deputies found three bullet holes on Friday in a wall at 948 Rockingham Lake Road. One of the bullets passed through a drawer before coming to rest on the bathroom floor. Nobody was injured.

On Tuesday, two people were arrested: Silas Ronnie “Skeeter” Paschal, 17, of 3342 Grooms Road in Reidsville and Brett Allen Strader, 19, of 310 Jones Lake Road in Reidsville. Both are charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and going armed to the terror of the public, according to a news release. Paschal was held on a $20,000 bond and Strader on a $100,000 bond.

Paschal also will be charged with larceny of the truck used in the case, according to the sheriff's office.
