GREENSBORO — City of Greensboro offices and facilities will be closed Monday for Labor Day.
The holiday schedule includes:
- No garbage, recycling, bulk trash, yard waste or appliance collections will take place Monday. Instead, Monday’s collection will take place Tuesday, and Tuesday’s collection will occur Wednesday.
- The White Street Landfill and the Solid Waste Transfer Station will both be closed Monday.
- The Greensboro Historical Museum and all branches of the Greensboro Public Library will be closed Monday.
- Greensboro Transit Authority’s bus services on Monday will operate on a Saturday schedule, with hourly service from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Specialized Community Area Transportation will operate normally Monday. There will be no Career Express service Monday.
- All city-operated parks, gardens, lakes, trails and cemeteries will be open Monday.
- All city recreation centers, Smith Senior Center, Folk Teen Center, Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, Caldcleugh Multicultural Arts Center, Greensboro Sportsplex and Parks, and recreation department offices and all its programs will not operate.
