GREENSBORO — Becky Jo Peterson-Buie was named Greensboro's interim city attorney today.
Peterson-Buie has worked for the city since 1987, when she was hired as an assistant city attorney, according to a news release. She most recently worked as chief deputy general counsel.
Peterson-Buie also was interim city attorney from Dec. 1, 2007, to June 30, 2008.
Current city attorney Terry Wood is retiring today.
