REIDSVILLE — No one was hurt when a home was struck by gunfire early this morning.
The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office said deputies found three bullet holes in a wall at 948 Rockingham Lake Road. One of the bullets passed through a drawer before coming to rest on the bathroom floor.
The sheriff's office said two gunshots woke 62-year-old Doralene Langley about 1:30 a.m. Friday, and she looked outside to see a green Ford truck pulling away from the house. William Langley, 65, was watching television in the living room when he heard gunshots and the sound of bullets striking the side of the house.
The sheriff's office has no suspects. Anyone with information about this incident can call detectives at 634-3238 or Crimestoppers at 349-9683.
