Golf tournament to benefit Crime Stoppers
GREENSBORO — The 18th Annual Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament will take place Monday at Forest Oaks Country Club.
Tee-off time for the Captain’s Choice Format will be at 8:30 a.m.
The Crime Stoppers program encourages citizens to provide information on crimes and criminal activity anonymously. Valid tips that result in the arrest of an individual are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
Crime Stoppers is not funded by citizens' tax dollars, police said. Donations must come from private sources. This golf tournament is the largest fundraiser for the program.
