GREENSBORO — Two men obtained assault warrants against each other after a punch was thrown during a protest on Tuesday, Fox 8 is reporting.
Nathan Tabor, a business owner and head of the Forsyth County Republican Party, told the TV station that he and 25 other people were protesting government bailouts in front of U.S. Rep. Mel Watt's Greensboro office on Tuesday. Video of the incident shows an argument and later a punch thrown by a man who was not part of the protest.
Tabor and Govenor Spencer of Greensboro each face an assault charge, according to the TV report.
