Local blogger found not guilty of cyberstalking
ASHEBORO — A Greensboro blogger has been found not guilty of cybertstalking charges against a blogger in Randolph County.
Jeff Martin of Greensboro, was found not guilty of the misdemeanor charge Monday in Randolph County court. Martin writes the blog "Vie De Malchance" under the name "Fecund Stench."
The charge, filed in December, stemmed from 27 e-mails Martin sent to an Asheboro pediatrician, Dr. Mary Johnson, in a span of one hour on Nov. 13. Johnson writes the blog "Dr. J's House Calls" under her own name.
Martin has written two blog posts on the decision: "Sweaty Palms" and "The Verdict".
Johnson also has written two posts on the verdict: "Not Guilty" and "When A Fecund Stench Permeates the Courtroom".
