GREENSBORO — Existing single-family home sales in Greensboro rose in March from the previous month’s totals and compared to last year
A total of 447 units were sold in Greensboro in March, up from 301 sold in February according to data prepared by Triad MLS Inc. for the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association. March’s figure tops the March 2009 total of 357 homes.
The average sales price of an existing single-family home last month rose to $144,471 from $127,829 in February. The average sale price in March 2009 was $147,878.
The total dollar volume for all units in March was $64,579,000, an increase from February’s $38,477,000. The March 2009 total dollar volume was $52,792,512.
