NO. 2 KENTUCKY 75, MISSISSIPPI STATE 74 (OT): John Wall scored seven of his 15 points in overtime, and Kentucky (32-2) rallied from five down with 2:28 left in regulation to beat Mississippi State 75-74 on Sunday. It was the Wildcats' 26th Southeastern Conference tournament championship. Mississippi State (23-11) lost for the second time to the Wildcats this season after leading late in regulation. The Bulldogs blew a seven-point lead on Feb. 16, and lost that game 81-75 in overtime.This time, the Bulldogs led 62-57 on Ravern Johnson's 3 with 2:28 left.
NO. 5 OHIO STATE 90, MINNESOTA 61: Evan Turner had 31 points and 11 rebounds to lead Ohio State (27-7) in the Big Ten championship game. Ohio State (27-7) made nine 3-pointers in the second half to pull away after leading by three t halftime. The Buckeyes tied the record for largest victory margin in a Big Ten tournament game.
NO. 17 TEMPLE 56, RICHMOND 52: Ryan Brooks made four free throws over the final 50 seconds and the top-seeded Owls (29-5) won their third straight Atlantic 10 tournament.
WOMEN
NORTH CAROLINA 88, NCCU 66: Chay Shegog tied a career high with 17 points as North Carolina closed its home schedule. Laura Broomfield added 12 points and 14 rebounds for UNC (19-11), which will now await its postseason fate.
LIBERTY 68, GARDNER-WEBB 66: Devon Brown banked in a runner with 4 seconds left to snap a tie and Liberty recovered after blowing a 20-point lead for its 13th Big South Conference title in 14 years.

APPALACHIAN HOSTS HARVARD: Appalachian State's men will host Harvard on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Holmes Center in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. The game marks the fourth Division I postseason appearance for the Mountaineers (22-12), who played in the 2007 NIT as well as the 1979 and 2000 NCAA tournaments. It is the first-ever meeting with the Crimson (21-7, 10-4 Ivy), though the programs' head coaches are familiar with each other. Buzz Peterson (North Carolina) and Tommy Amaker (Duke) competed against each other for three seasons in the ACC in the 1980s.
