Man arrested after Walkertown bank robbery

A man charged with robbing a bank in Walkertown was arrested Wednesday night in Raleigh.
Investigators with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office learned that William Weylin Clemons, 30, was in Raleigh. Police there arrested him without incident at the Foxy Lady Club on Capital Boulevard.
Clemons, who lived in Walkertown, is charged with common-law robbery and is in jail awaiting transfer to Forsyth County.
The SunTrust bank branch at 2820 Old Hollow Road was robbed at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday. The lone suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.
